HDFC Bank launches next-gen mobile banking app

HDFC Bank today launched its next-gen mobile banking app to allow users seamless access to the banking services while on the go.


The app features simple, intuitive navigation and incorporates biometric log in for enhanced security. It eliminates financial and technical jargon for users by grouping transactions into 3 easy to understand categories viz. Pay, Save and Invest. The dashboard offers a 360 degree financial snapshot of all assets and liabilities.


The transactions available on the app have been selected based on an intensive study of existing navigation and usage patterns coupled with customer research and feedback.


The app was launched at the Bank’s annual Digital Innovation Summit 2018 (DIS) in New Delhi. The Summit is a marquee event for the Bank to showcase and launch innovative products and services that ride on technology. To create a closer customer connect, the Bank will also launch a contest for customers to review the app.

The next gen app is one more step by the Bank in its on-going journey to become a constant part of customers’ life, understand their needs and give products and services that offer a real time experience.”


In 2014, the Bank had launched its digital banking journey with the tagline ‘Bank aapkimuththimein’ from the banks of river Ganga in Varanasi. The journey continues…
